Hi, I’m Lottie

I’m a true advocate of living your life through your passions. In 2012 I made a permanent move to the mountains; to Verbier, Switzerland in order to turn my hobbies into my work. Leaving London and a corporate events role behind, my passion for skiing initially lured me here, and I started ski instructing in the winter months. However it wasn’t until I spent my first summer in Verbier that I truly saw the wonders of living in this magical mountainous environment. I was blown away by the shear beauty of it all, and by the amount of fun, challenging and social sports and activities there are to throw yourself into, which for me was hiking, cycling, trail running, lake swimming and paddle boarding. This got me thinking of a way to bring others to the mountains to share this incredible and uplifting experience with… the retreats were born!

This stunning environment allows me to live out my passions on a pretty much daily basis, creating a healthy lifestyle for which I am truly grateful. I now couldn’t imagine living anywhere else and it gives me such pleasure sharing this active and inspiring environment with others.

RETREAT BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

With over 7 years experience running multiple retreats, I have built on previous successes and fine tuned my retreat offering in order to deliver the best possible escape for you, my lovely guests! I offer the perfect retreats for women to escape and focus solely on their bodies, minds and souls. The retreats are as much about social connection and having fun as they are about fitness, relaxation and health eating.

Combining my professional fitness qualifications, local knowledge and love for the mountains, with a fun and encouraging personality equals… a retreat experience like no other!

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

  • Level 3 Personal Trainer and certified spin instructor

  • Ski instructor (Fully certified in the British, Swiss and French systems: British BASI Level 4, Swiss Brevet Federal and French Carte Pro)

  • First Aid trained

During my initial ski instructing exams I became fascinated in the off-snow aspect of fitness training involved. Learning about biomechanics and the different training methods intrigued me, and I jumped on the chance to study this further, completing my Personal Training qualification.

Since then my passion for training others has grown. I have trained other ski instructors progressing through their ski careers, individuals focusing on weight loss, strength training, skills to help with ageing and preparations for sporting races, as well as families and couples wanting to enjoy workouts together.

I specialise in improving body confidence through: weight loss, toning, cardio fitness and strength. As well as training balance, mobility and coordination for maturer clients.
